What does your significant other and family think of your writing career?
My family is extremely supportive of my writing. My mother has read my books (although she skips the sex scenes). My father has been begging to read one of my books for a while (the answer is always no). My husband and sisters tell everyone who will listen to buy my books. They are my biggest supporters and the first members of my street team. My children know what I write and are proud of me. I know that I’m very blessed to have my family behind me 100% and I don’t take that for granted
How do you describe your writing style?
I’m a pantser with a small amount of plotting. I’ll plot how I want the story to go but my muse always takes over and veers me off into a different direction. I love being a pantser though. When I’m writing the story I find out things about my characters or the plot as I’m typing. It’s a pretty awesome feeling actually, especially when I’m taken totally off guard by what a character has said or done. In Dangerously Hers Jess had a break down while she was talking to Eva. Everything that she said I had not known before that moment. It was crazy. And when Marcie, one of the secondary characters reveals something to Jess it through me for a loop as well. I love it!
Do you hear from your readers? What kinds of questions do they ask?
I don’t get a lot of fan mail, but I get shout outs on social media which I enjoy. A little shout-out goes a long way. I was lying in bed with my husband one night and I was talking to him about my writing career and writers block and someone sent a shout-out about my series on Twitter. That lifted my spirits. It’s always nice to hear from readers.
How do you react to a bad review of your book?
It depends on what type of review it is. There are bad reviews that really dive into the book and points out what the reader didn’t like or what they think I should have done differently. Sometimes they bring things to my attention that I can honestly agree with. And sometimes I don’t agree. I see that as a difference of opinions and I respect them. What I don’t read are the reviews where the reader isn’t offering any insight as to why they didn’t like the book or there is not constructive criticism anywhere in the review. I don’t read it and I brush it off. There is no way that I can write books to appeal to every reader all the time. I write because I enjoy it. I just don’t understand how anyone can take a book that I write and then proceed to go on a personal attack. I want to tell them, “Put the book down and back away.”
When's the last time you played that musical instrument?
When's the last time you played that musical instrument?
I used to play the violin. I was terrible, but that didn’t stop me from taking that thing everywhere and practicing. I gave it up when I went to junior high school. I’m sure my family was very happy when I did.
Can you tell us about your upcoming book?
Dangerously Hers is the 3rd book in the science fiction, erotic, romance Loving Dangerously Series. I love the characters in this book so much! Jess has a razor tongue but underneath it all she’s an abused woman who is learning that she is worthy of being loved. Rasha, my alien hero wants Jess so bad, but he’s having a hard time figuring out human women, especially one with a past like Jess.
by A.M. Griffin
Loving Dangerously, Book Three Jess hates aliens. After the invasion that destroyed Earth, the extraterrestrial bastards sold her to a brothel as a sex slave. She may have escaped but the old memories and fears still linger in the dark corners of her mind. Supposedly Sonis is just the place for her—somewhere safe, where she can heal and start fresh. She’s almost hopeful…until she meets Rasha, her new boss.
Rasha, Captain of the Sonis Royal Guard, is a warrior through and through. He’s huge, sinfully sexy and could have any woman on Sonis—but the woman he wants is Jess. He’s very much an alien and Jess knows she should hate him or at least be wary, but whenever he’s around, she loses control. She tells herself it’s only sex—amazing, mind-blowing sex like nothing else she’s ever experienced—but there’s something about Rasha that shakes her soul. The feel of his skin against hers, the look in his eyes as he touches her—they make her want to believe it’s possible to find love and begin again.

Rasha raised it out of her grasp. “You should never try to take a warrior’s weapon.”
She pulled her hand back in record speed. “I wasn’t trying to take it. I wanted to feel it.”
He lowered his weapon in front of her.
She flicked her hand out nonchalantly. “Never mind. You're acting like it’s been kissed by Jesus or something.”
“Forget about it. It’s precious, I get it.”
“There’s no reason to get upset. If you no longer want to touch this weapon, I have another…weapon…you can touch.”
She shifted on her feet, feeling the bumbling idiot trying to rise to the surface. “No, thank you.” Yes, please.
He ran his hands down his muscular thighs. “Another time then?”
Jess had the fleeting thought of him running his hands on her. Oh jeez, how good would those hands feel on me.
“I shall leave you alone. I’m sure you have plenty of work to do.”
“Alone? again?” As she spoke, she immediately wanted to take the words back.
He cocked his head. “I could stay if you wish. Eva said you would need ‘space’ in the beginning.”
She snorted. The sound wasn’t pretty at all. She might as well have oinked like a pig while she was at it. “I don’t wish you to stay.”
“Really? Are you sure? We could do something about that.”
Was his voice always this deep?
She picked at her hair nervously. “About what?”
He inhaled sharply. “I can smell you.” Then he let his gaze drop to her crotch.
